“You don’t mind breaking the law?”
“Not in the least.”
“Nor running a chance of arrest?”
“Not in a good cause.”
“Oh, the cause is excellent!”

Somehow I always thought of Holmes and Watson as sticklers for following The Rules. Apparently not.
