Music is much more striated now than it used to be.  I miss the days when you could listen to Kasey Kasem and hear all kinds of different things.

    I think that it is the oppression of choice... moving things that can be appreciated by all alike to the fringes so that taste can be codified and sold for greater profit as "unique" ...
