I Do This

"I have this incredible dream that one day, one minute, the whole world, at the same time, will decide it's time for peace and love. So I just do my part. And I think that's all you can do. I'm not telling anyone else what to do. I do this, and that's the end of my story."  ~Ringo Starr

What I love about Ringo is that he doesn’t hide what he wants to say beneath layers of cryptic metaphors. It’s a certain courage you don’t find often.

Anyway, this is a song about death that always lifts my spirits.

George made this demo before handing it over to his friend Ringo.

Ringo took out the "Hare Krishna!," but otherwise left it pretty much the same.
