  2. ...because you are not following them to heart... feel them and let the feeling they elicit wash over the feelings that come from being "in" the world... that is when it becomes easy... once you acknowledge the difficulty of the overcoming, you will find that you have likely over come those feelings and be at peace...

  3. I see it as something to aspire to. It's not always easy to shift our perspective, even when logically we know that's what we should do.

    I like the imagery he used, and in a completely irrelevant side note, I like it because he sort of sounds like Kurt Vonnegut in this one. ;)

  4. I think, and have felt, to let go is one of the hardest things to do. There is a strong tumultuous and self-destroying nature to hold onto feelings that devour you. May be we imagine it'll get better, it'll reverse but fail to realize that letting go is the only way to make it better.
